The New Leash on Life Fund allows For Paws Sake to help animals who need extra health care due to accident or disease. Here at For Paws Sake our adoption fee covers routine vaccinations, micro chips, sterilization, basic tests and initial heartworm and flea preventive.
However, some cats or dogs are in need of additional extensive medical treatment before they can be adopted. As a no kill shelter, we are committed to the animals we take in, and choose to treat rather than euthanize; therefore, the bills can be extensive for some rescued animals. Because of this need, we have established the New Leash on Life Fund where individuals or businesses can donate funds to sponsor a specific animal's vetting needs. Additionally funds may be donated to this fund for future animals in need of a New Leash on Life.
Sponsors will receive a picture of the animal sponsored and updates on his or her progress toward and to adoption. All donations are completely tax deductible. Even if you are unable to foster animals in your home, this is one way to develop a bond with an individual rescue animal.
We hope you will support our efforts to save animals, which might otherwise be euthanized due to illness or accident.
Thank you from the For Paws Sake Volunteers and the animals in their care.
